Hanz Araki at Gael and a little bit of Elementary Number Theory

Last night, I went to Gael to listen to music played by Hanz Araki and his band. It was wonderful. Ninong G. joined me later and we chatted for an hour or so. The first time to see him in two years!

Here is one elementary number theoretic fact about the equation m^a-2^b=1.

One Halloween Picture

This was taken by Johnny during the Halloween party at Gael. This was first uploaded to Johnny's blog. I just copied it from there and pasted here. I hope he doesn't mind me doing this. After all, this is a photograph of me! It was a great party with apple eating contest: you eat one apple with two people. Guess what it looked like! Guinness that night tasted unusually specially good. Thanks for the good time, Gaelers!!!

Young's Special London Ale

This beer (bottle) is so far the closest to Yona-Yona (cast conditioned). Definitely a buy. Judging from the bouquet, I guess they use cascade hop. From now on, if I want Yona-Yona Real Ale, I'll buy this instead of canned Yona-Yona. I supposed SLA real ale should taste heavenly.

Three Drinks on the Cultural Day, or the Birthday of Meiji Emperor

Benoit Tassy Cabernet Sauvignon.
Dom (Koelsh Beer)
Chateau Tanais Olivier (1995)

I tasted them tonight. Weeeel, BT Cabernet Sauvignon is good as a table wine.

Dom was interesting. Almost lager-like ale. The first touch was with mild sweetness, It was dry...or I have forgotten what it was like. The body was medium to light, if I remember it correctly. It has an aroma of ale not lager.

Ch. Tanais Olivier lacked of aroma (I wanted more bouquet and flavor). Mild tannin and what else?, I don't remember.

I can't talk about wine in general because I don't know them.
And I don't know anything about German beer yet.
