Laphroaig Laphroaig Laphroaig...

I bought a bottle of Laphroaig a few days ago after grabbing Bowmore and Laphroaig in each of my hand. I chose Laphroaig because I thought it was heavier and smokier, so it would take longer to finish a bottle. It is indeed full bodied and smokier, but I fell in love with it (miscalculation).... It is like Guinness; after one glass, you want another. The more you drink, the more you appreciate it. What a dangerous whisky at a reasonable price! In addition, they have a clever marketing strategy of giving out the membership of the club, the Friends of Laphroaig, which comes with some privileges. I'm so trapped in their marketing.... But who cares? They make fine whisky!
